- Clean with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth in the direction of the grain.
- Wipe dry immediately after cleaning to prevent water from accumulating on the furniture.
- Only for items with olied finish: may be re-oiled after some time for keeping them in good condition.
- As dirt or grime can accumulate on bamboo wood over time, it is important to give it a thorough cleaning every year. To do so, use soft-bristled scrub brush and warm, soapy water.
- After cleaning it, rinse it with a damp sponge. Lastly, dry it with a towel, and add a thin layer of wax or oil to the wood.
- Before the season starts and ends, treat it with an outdoor sealant. Keep it in a shaded space that isn't damp or wet. When not in use, or during difficult weather conditions, use a protective cover, or store the furniture inside.
- In case of mouldy areas on the furniture, treat them with lemon oil.
